Goals:

Primary:

  1. Recognize images to get a fix on the current location in a normal cluttered house.
  2. Navigate a normal semi cluttered house relying mostly on vision
  3. Follow a person around the room using vision alone.
  4. Use as a remote telepresence security robot
  5. With addition to The ZED camera and height the robot should be able to navigate a very dense crowd.
  6. Map the first floor of a house in under 1 hour

Secondary: (After arm install)

  1. Locate interesting objects on floor
  2. Pick up objects under 2 pounds and drop off too a lost and found box
  3. Have the robot chase a tennis ball around the room, pick it up and or return it like a pet.
