There are only four pins that you need to worry about on the HC-SR04: VCC (Power), Trig (Trigger), Echo (Receive), and GND (Ground). This is directly compatible with the Robot Core v1.2. There are 4 open ports for these sensor types. Robot core has built-in examples/libraries to make interfacing with this sensor easy. Tired of buying cheap knockoffs? These sensors are built stronger and are not as flimsy. They are also lead free.

This is the HC-SR04 ultrasonic ranging sensor. This includes a 6 inch, 4-pin .1" spacing hookup wire. These are simple jumper wires used on standard 0.1" breakaway headers. This economical sensor provides 2cm to 400cm of non-contact measurement functionality with a ranging accuracy that can reach up to 3mm. Each HC-SR04 module includes an ultrasonic transmitter, a receiver and a control circuit.
